This lovely five seater Austin Clifton tourer. immortalised by Val Biro in his books about Gumdrop. a heavy 12/4 Clifton tourer has had 9 owners from new. It had been in storage for some 7 years until I purchased it. It has had a new radiator ( over £400) and new coil/magneto conversion ( £600) . new plugs and leads and is running well. It has the benefit of side screens. a hood and cover. all in very good condition. a luggage rack at the rear and a rare Auster screen. It has had a sympathetic restoration some time ago with new upholstery and has a  file of bills and receipts to show the mechanical work done. The only reason for sale is that the space is required for a Model T Ford which I prefer to drive as I like the sit up and beg position better. Tax and M. O. T. exempt.
