1958 Austin Healey Sprite for sale

Straight body.
Total engine rebuild.
Fitted with ribcage transmission. All new carpets. upholstery. Painted correct "Old English White. "Rebuilt suspension. All new electrics and wire harness. starter motor. generator. voltage regulator All instruments in good order. New radiator core. New top. tonneau. and correct 1958 side curtains. correct steering wheel and jack. New radial tires. Brake cylinders. shoes. and lines. No expense spared.
This car is a rare. early model. estimated to be the 683 car made from a total of 50. 00.
Although beautiful. it is an excellent runner entered in local tours regularly. Car handles beautifully and has the extra power provided by the engine and brake modifications used by the factory in its premier showing in the 1958 12-hour race at Sebring. Florida. This includes a better breathing manifold system. larger exhaust valves and springs. larger 1 1/4 inch Dual SU carburetors and disc brakes. The car is a head-turner and receives "thumbs-up" signs everywhere it goes. Also comes with correct 1959 after-market hardtop (unrestored). Hardtop was also used on the 3 Sebring racecars.
