1965 Land Rover Series IIa 109
Odometer: 133913 Kilometers
VIN: 26405076 B
engine: 2. 3 L Gasoline
Transmission: Manual
paint: Olive
Description
This vehicle is located in Hungary. Europe. Seller is an American citizen from Utah. living part-time in Hungary. The U. S. dollar is very strong as I write this. giving you a rare opportunity to acquire this vehicle at a very reasonable price. I have exported several Land Rovers to the U. S. with great success and will be happy to walk you through the quite simple process of doing so.
I am pleased to offer a beautiful 1965 Land Rover Series IIa 109 in virtually original condition. The odometer shows just 133913 kilometers (83. 09 miles). which I believe is accurate. With exception to the reupholstered interior and rebuilt orignial 2. 3 L inline 4 cylinder engine. this Series IIa is original and free of any serious rust.
Mechanically very sound. I would not hesitate it to drive anywhere. The engine starts up quickly and runs great. The 4-speed transmission shifts smooth and the low 4 WD works as it should. Braking system was redone recently and the undercarriage was regularly professionally sprayed with waxoil.
During it's life it was fitted with some unusual accessories: roof mounted tool rack. sun visor. front bumper-mounted auxillary fuel tank. mounted 5 gallon Jerry can. front and rear spotlights. cargo-mounted tool box and rear steel lamp guards.
Free and clear Hungarian title and registration (can be translated for registration in the U. S. or Canada)
If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to me
Kind Regards. /
