The car was purchased new at Maple Buick in South Orange. NJ. Shortly afterwards it went to Texas and stayed there until I bought it. The car retains its original paperwork including the protect-o-plate. A copy of the build sheet was also found stuffed in the back seat cushion when cleaning the interior. It retains the original numbers matching engine. carburetor. ST300 transmission and 3. 08 ratio open rear end and the odometer is showing just 62. 00 miles. Mileage is believed to be original. The car runs strong. does not use oil and does not overheat.

Exterior has extremely nice fresh paint in the original color; the bumpers. wing windows and reverse lights have been re-chromed; the stainless has been polished and the taillights are some of the nicest I have seen. The antenna and remote outside mirror are NOS items. The grill. rocker moldings and other exterior bright trim are also very good and not pitted. The hood emblem colors are just hand painted. The power top is nice but the rear window could stand to be polished. All the weather-stripping on the top is new and it operates smoothly. Comes with rally wheels and bias ply redlines (many of the pictures show radials but they are not included).

The interior is mostly original and in excellent condition. The dash pad is really nice without even a hint of a crack. Console has a freshly restored tachometer in it and the carpet has been replaced as well as the scuff plates. Steering wheel is a new reproduction item. Radio works well (it's AM though). Top boot is original and nice. Trunk has a new vinyl mat. new 205/75-14 spare tire mounted on a rally wheel and complete jack setup. The door and trunk weather-stripping is new.

Underside has not been restored. It came from the Baltimore plant with undercoating which it still retains. The exhaust is a Gardner system with their turbo mufflers and the original heat riser still works. Boxed lower control arms and sway bar have been added to the rear suspension. New coil springs and shocks have been installed front and rear. This car rides and drives extremely well and has almost no squeaks or rattles.

The windshield could stand to be replaced due to scratches. A new one with the same PPG etching on it can be bought for $150 plus shipping. The floor just behind the passenger seat has small rust through where it seems someone let water accumulate and stay. I was not going to do anything to this as it is really minor but thought it needed to be disclosed.

For more information and/or additional pictures serious buyers may call me at 920-337-0581. No I will not disclose the reserve. As always it is best to inspect the car before buying.

The fine print: it is advertised for sale locally. Pick up and transportation is the obligation of the purchaser but willing to assist in loading.
