welcome to my auction for tilly my 1968 morris traveller. as can be seen from the pictures tilly is in very good condition inside and out. there is no rust or rot anywhere on this car. tilly has been very well looked after by its previous owners and still retains its original wood ( how rare is that ) which is in excellent condition. under the arches were taken down to the bare metal then coated with anti rust then 3 coats of zinc primer then 3 coats of almond green. stainless steel nuts and bolts where then used to put every thing back together. underside has been coated with two coats of black smooth hammerite then waxoyl. the previous owner drove this morris traveller from surrey England for me to look at thats how confident he was with the car. under the kick plates. flinch panels . hassis were all in excellent condition. I have owned 2 other travellers and know the horrors they can hide. the engine bay as can be seen in the pictures is also in very nice condition. inside this traveller is in excellent condition. new under felt. new carpets throughout. rear seats are original. front seats have new covers. new door cards. stunning new expensive cream linen headlining. new rear boot vinyl to original spec. lots of new chrome. hockey sticks. grill finisher. top rail. there is a lot of old mots and tax discs. there is even the original bill of sale which was to a rev tamplin ( yes really ) who got the car undersealed. seatbelts etc from new. unleaded head fitted and engine checked at the time. so to sum up if you are after a very nice morris traveller that is in very good condition and is ready to enjoy you would have to look for a long time to find one as nice as this unless you want to spent serious money which these seem to be fetching these days. seen some of these for 18k plus. any more details you need phone 07709051612. deposit of £500 to be paid at the end of auction. buyer must collect although I can arrange transport to your door at buyers expensive.
