Holden Torana SL/R 5000 Replica - Must sell. low reserve.
PLEASE - only bid if you intend to buy and please think twice before 'accidentally' bidding.
Older replica - customised in the 90's. Originally an L 20 six cylinder. Last registered in Victoria.
Warm 308 (cams. headers. gilmer drive etc). Aussie 4 speed manual. Runs well and starts first time but has sat for a few years so could do with a tune. Mechanically very good - needs some work on steering (tie rods loose etc). NOTE diff is fine - thought it was noisy but its actually the rear tyres rubbing against guards - sizing not quite right. Rear guard have NOT been chopped. . Electric fuel pump. new battery. Headers have a very small hole in them but have an excellent replacement set to go with car. Fake drop tank out the back. Centreline rims. Battery relocated to boot. big alloy radiator.
Interior very good - fully customised seats. door trims etc. Glove box signed by Harry Firth. has rare SL/R ashtray.
Body is very good - only area that needs attention is passenger side front door which has some panel dents and a couple of small rust holes and also rear LH door has a couple of rust bubbles too. Rest of car excellent for rust and very straight. Plenum. sills. floors etc all excellent. Paintwork is presentable for a driver without being show quality - has a few crack and imperfections.
Needs a little bit of finishing off overall but not much work - just a basic service. tune etc.
