It is with regret that I find I have to sell my beetle as a result of a changes at home & work. I have had it for about 8 months and it has run without any material problems the whole time. This is my daily drive and I easily cover 250-300 miles a week.
Under the previous owner. this car had a full body-off restoration. The work included new floorpans. heater channels. front bulkhead. front and rear aprons leaving it effectively rot free. Pre-67 front wings and rear deck lid. As you can see from the pictures. it was repainted two tone black & cream.
The car was reassembled with stainless steel bolts throughout. new wing seals. window seals. one piece front windows. new front sloping headlights. flat 4 roof rack. More recently I have had the whole brake system overhauled with new shoes and drums all round. new exhaust and heat exchangers plus a set of imitation Fuchs alloys.
Inside. the car is completely carpeted and is equipped with Audi TT black leather seats. This gives it a modern and very comfortable twist on the classic beetle.
It has a custom built 1641cc Engine which from Air-Cooled Performance. fitted twin 40 carbs and is awash with chrome tinware.
The car sits low. as a result the ride is quite firm and dare I say it. quite sporty.
It comes with a variety of spares and accessories but is not wanting for any work at this time.
