It is with great regret that I am auctioning my beautiful 1978 Daimler Sovereign as it just isn't getting the use it deserves.

 

I have had this car for a number of years and it has never let me down. It has had a full service every year and anything it needs it has had. Only used during the summer for classic shows. It comes with a full 12 months MOT till Sept 2014.

 

It is finished in lovely Jupiter Green and has a near perfect light cloth beige interior. It has front and rear seatbelts so a good car if you have children to take to shows in.

Very recent work carried out = Two new front wings fitted recently and re-sprayed. new radiator. new top and bottom ball joints. new top wish bone bushes. new track rod ends. new rack gators. new fuel pump fitted in one of the tanks. Recently serviced.

 

It has won several trophies at the Jaguar Drivers Club Concours evenings over the last few years and has lots of receipts for the work carried out.

 

This car is really like sitting in an armchair and drives so smoothly you would not believe. It has always been garage and given lots of tlc.

 

Things you should be aware of:   The roof lining has a few small bubbles in it but no sagging. the front passenger seat has a small mark on it. it has period alloy wheels fitted as the original ones were steel wheels which I didn't want.

The Daimler is available for viewing evenings and weekends in Coventry/Warwickshire area and we have a ramp available with a workshop if you would like to view the underneath of the car which of course is all solid.

Advertised elsewhere so I will remove if it is sold.
