One of the last made during the final days of production. it was born on July 6. 1987. This Special Build model is Tornado Red with color-matched mirrors. rear spoiler. and window trim plus a Digital Dash. Ronal 16 spoke silver wheels. the updated 2. 3 L. 5 cyl engine with 136 hp. 4 wheel disk dual diagonal brakes (87 models only) and the rare and faster autoshift.

Selected by Car & Driver as the Best Sports Coupe of the Year. the Coupe GT handles like a gokart. predictable - yet crisp. It's fun to toss. but always returns to neutral.

Power Windows. Power Door Locks. A/C. Sunroof. and a modern Stereo makes this the perfect road warrior.

Mostly original paint (except rear spoiler and mirrors (which were faded and have just been resprayed. not shown in photos) with 94. 48 original miles. Always garaged. it retains a beautiful glossy finish. Period correct Quartz Grey Velour interior with a single worn spot on the driver's side left back bolster. A/C works.

No doubt. this is the finest one available now or in the last few years. driven only 3. 00 miles per year since purchased new on 9/22/87.

This isn't similar to the other Audi Coupe GT's online recently (e Bay). this car is has original well maintained paint. it is 100% stock. never kitted up or modified. This is a true collectible as well as an awesome daily driver.

I have another Audi Coupe GT with 167. 00 miles on it and it uses zero oil between 3. 00 service intervals. the 2. 3 L in this car also has the Audi updated new fuel injection system that is practically

foolproof. unlike the earlier system used.

It also has 26 more hp which can be felt when driving the two cars back to back.

I'm selling to fund another one to be built as a Rally car. otherwise I'd keep it.

Faults at Present. Door Mirror remote switch and Cruise Control are both intermittent. very small surface stone chip with rust on edge of hood. Driver's seat left bolster has wear area (seen in photos).
