Here we have my dads 1963 Morris Minor convertible. nbsp;affectionately known as "Bertie Basset"
Dad has owned this car since 2002 and is only the 3rd owner since new. He has used it daily (apart from in the winter when its been tucked away in the garage). and it has proved to be very reliable.
The car has been resprayed at some point before my dad bought it. and it still shines beautifully as you can see. There are a few minor rust spots coming through on the bottom of the doors and the boot lid. and a dent in the passengers side rear wing. but other than that its in very good condition. It always gets admiring looks and comments wherever it goes! Underneath has had welding in the past but it has been done to a good standard and is very solid now.
The interior is in good condition and the red looks great against the black paint. there are no rips or burns in the seats.
Bertie has been well loved and maintained. and is only being reluctantly sold as dad has now bought a Morris woody.
In recent years it has had new tyres. brake shoes and wheel cylinders. battery. original style stainless steel exhaust. water pump and hoses. plenty of receipts to prove.  
Everything works as it should and the hood and frame are in good order
We have a huge pile of paperwork with the car. old mots. tax discs. receipts. bills of sales etc. some dating back to the 60's. its possible that the original bill of sale may be in there as well but will confirm that if we can find it.
Dad will be very sad to see this go and would like it to go to a good home!
The car is located in Downham Market and viewing is welcomed and recommended. although please no timewasters.
