For sale her I have a Jensen Interceptor Mk III. This is an early Mk III with the G series engine the displacement of which is 6. 3 litres. Those of you in the know will be aware that the early Mk III cars with the 383 cubic inch engine is the car to have. The chassis number of the car is 128/4341 and it left the Jensen factory on 8. 11. 71. I am selling the car on the basis that it requires a full restoration so as to avoid post-sale whinging. However see the pictures for yourself. I would suggest that anyone with a talent for restoration could rescue this vehicle at home.
It has corrosion in the wheelarches and lower valances. The exhaust is absent from the car but these are easily attainable. The floors are remarkably solid and just require small patches here and there. The inner sills have some areas of corrosion but again I feel that careful patching is possible. The vehicle is parked at the premises of a Jensen specialist in Ilkeston. Derbyshire who is storing it on my behalf. I bought the vehicle recently as an investment.
