1951 MG TD.

Very dark BRG with new leather tan interior. Built April 1951. First licensed Canada in 1952.

VIN: TD 7229.

Eng#: XPAG/TD/LHX 6675.

All steering and suspension and brakes overhauled 4 years ago. Complete rear axle and both rear springs

previously replaced. All wood appears to be in good condition with no rot.

Paint/body and some chrome show their age and could use refinishing to be show quality. but the car drives. steers and brakes well . No holes . or rusted out panels. Convertible top and rear window in good condition. Have complete set side curtains that are serviceable. but could use restoring. Engine and gearbox have very minor oil leaks. Does not overheat. or burn oil.

Oil pressure approx. 30 psi idle hot.

As stated. the car could be better with paint and chrome. but it is really not too bad looking and is an excellent driver.

Just about everything works. including the clock. I have a few miscellaneous spares and manuals. including a custom tonneau that has not been installed. Appraised in

June 2010 for $17. 00.

I have several documents and repair invoices dating back to early 1962.

Currently licensed and operated in Ontario with Title/Ownership Registration in my name and is lien free. Located in Ontario. Canada. About 1 hour south of Ottawa. on the Ontario/New York border. Approx. 30 mins. north of Massena. N. Y.
