1967 USA Ford Futura Sports Coupe (XR Falcon Coupe)

This Coupe is one of those survivor examples of the classic USA Ford 1966 Falcon coupes. This has been owned by the same family for over 30 years and comes with a stack of receipts. The vehicle is said to of been sitting in storage for the last 20 years. When looking over the coupe you could well believe that. it's in good condition for 46 years on the planet. This 67 is one of only 7. 53 originally produced. as for the V8 C Codes these were only special order and far fewer production numbers made with the V8's.  This is the coupe us Aussies didn't make but we all wanted one. This is great Survivor not Showroom vehicle. very honest in unmolested condition. rare to find at this price. I will say it's good as Rust Free. look for yourself. ask for photos! 

The Facts: 
Built on the 27th Sep 1966 in the Kansas City Ford Plant. came out in Candyapple Red. Red interior. 62C - Bucket Seats. 289 Challenger V8 (200HP) C Code. C4 Auto with column shift. with a axle ratio: 3. 10:1. All of these factory options are still in good working order. I found the Coupe in sunny LA of California from the long term owner.  

Body: 
All the panels line up well with right gaps all around and no signs of rust. The paint is in reasonable condition and I would comfortably rate it 7-8/10. The paint looks maybe 10+ years old and was done to a good standard. The body looks ok with a few very small imperfections in the paint and panels. All the glass looks fine without any marks or blemishes. Most of the bright trims are in tack with two missing on the driver side (above door & above rear window). The bumpers are in fair condition. with some minor damage to the front bumper on the r/h/s. I will say this is; “Rust-Free” all of the common places are completely clear of any signs of rust and all the floors are solid and all original.  

Interior: 
Is in original condition and not showing any signs of wear or tear. It comes with ducted AC vents in the dash. The dash and instrument panel is in working condition. the wiper switch have been moved. All the seats are in good condition and the covers are in great condition. The carpet shows up fine with only a small blemish on the driver's floor. All the windows operate flawlessly from open to close. The windscreen has a crack and would require to be replaced. It has a working aftermarket stereo (CD) in the dash with the original removed (???) also speakers installed in the rear parcel shelf.  

Engine & Trans: 
The 289 V8 block is original and runs just fine. It is missing all the AC parts from under the bonnet. with the bracket the only thing intact. It does have a brand new Holley 600 Carb and full twin exhaust system. The engine is in mostly untouched original condition and shows some signs of 46yrs of use. Equipped with factory original power steering that operates Fine. It has sign of an old smog system that has been mostly taken off. This coupe has the standard C4 Crusi-A-Matic. with column shift; changes nicely without any noises. no leaks and nice clean fluids.
