1995 Chesil Factory built Chesil Speedster 356 replica

Pacific Blue in colour. with Cream interior.

Car has covered approx 19. 00 miles. and has now had 3 owners

I aquired the car in September 2009

Based on a 1971 Beetle chassis. that was shortened by Chesil on their jig.

Fully powder coated as part of the factory build spec.

Arnie Levics 1776 cc engine on twin Dellorto DRLA 36's

Wind up windows. not polycarbonate slide in ones

Deep blue carpet

3 way charger. for Iphones/Sat nav/Mobiles etc.

The car is in very good condition. minor marks on the paintwork. which appears to be more of a blemish on the lacquer finish. and slight crazing to the rear nearside area above the rear lights.

Car handles superbly. regularly serviced and maintained.

Last year it took part in 'The Grand Tour -CAPE TO CAPE' in aid of Macmillan Cancer.

This meant travelling from Cornwall. to Cape Wrath in Scotland. to start the event. and then 7 days touring the country. using routes from the 1920's /30's. to finish at Cape Cornwall. A grand total of some 2. 00 miles in 9 days. The car never missed a beat. and performed brilliantly.

Currently SORN'd and in storage. it will be sold with a new MOT. Tax is still valid until 3/14 (it is tax exempt so no reason to return the disc)

Genuine reason for sale. 4 brand new tyres fitted before the event last year.
