1970 Pontiac Firebird with a very rare " 455 SD Engine " Block # Y8. see the picture. please !!! ( GOOGLE Pontiac 455 SD. just 1. 96 SD-455's made it into production in 1973 and 1974) . YES. this 1970 Pontiac Firebird (VIN # 224870N124504) runs a rare 1973 Pontiac "455 Super Duty" with Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 three-speed automatic transmission !!! Engine was built / rebuilt for Racing around 6 years ago and may be only 1000km driven since. estimated 550 HP. NEVER BEEN RACED. plans changed (health issues and they closed "Race City" here in Calgary anyway two years ago). the Owner before me built this Engine and past away. so NO known internal Engine spec's. his family sold the unfinished Car !!! INTERIOR is back in the car. everything is there. except orig. front seats. dash was replaced with a used one and has a little crack on top. door panels need work. no stereo. no heater system at all ("Race Car"). but have most of the orig dash inserts and face plate. cluster is still original. headliner in really good shape. also carpet. rear seats and panels. front seats. steering wheel and dash panel are NOT original. but in good shape. has a brand new shift kit. console not installed yet. BUT EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT !!! EXTERIOR is in fair shape for the year. lower rear 1/4's have a little visible bondo under the really old paint job. trunk pan inside as well. trunk lid is rusty inside on the edges. driver's floor pan has a cutted out area around 20cm X 20cm and put back a peace of sheet metal with pop rivets only. everything else is really solid. doors. rockers. roof are in very fair shape. all glass in good shape. new windshield. really old paint job with a few dents. scratches and repainted areas (see the pictures). no key for the locks. but comes with a complete used door lock set with keys. POWERTRAIN. /u> . I do NOT have the original Powertrain !!! . and again. there are NO known internal Engine spec's on the 455 SD. but has a high rise intake manifold with brand new 750 Carb. new  starter. distr. kit. plugs + wires. valve covers + gaskets. air filter asm. . fluids. filters. belts. etc. . etc. . etc. . just to much to list and really ready to go !!! Has a starter switch and ignition ! NO POWER STEERING AND NO POWER BRAKES. A REAL MAN'S CAR !!! OTHER SPECS . nbsp;turbine wheels with really good 225/50/R15 and 295/50/R15 tires. traction bars (. you need them !!!). custom built side pipe exhaust with mufflers. headers. brakes. steering. front and rear end in good shape and ready to roll without any vibrations. by the way. there was a brand new out of Province / out of Country Inspection done in April 2012 !!! Again. the car came orig. from the US in Michigan 5 years ago. thousands of dollars invested in parts and labour !!! comes with a lot of parts. like the orig.  Ram Air / double scoop hood (needs paint. please see the old picture ). air condition. dash board inserts. etc. . lots of extra brand new performance parts (still in the box) like 3" headers. another brand new performer intake manifold ( makes the orig. hood fit) and a lot of small little used parts (to much to list). So. whatever you want to do. restore the car. or bring it back to original. or just drive like it is. don't forget. this Firebird

Inspection at the time of pick up and attempts at subsequent renegotiation will not be permitted and will be cause for forfeiture of the deposit.
