1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 for sale
Current customer rating:
This is a true barn find.
It is a 2 owner family owned Pennsylvania vehicle since new.
It was bought from Brown Chevrolet in Baltimore Maryland and was titled June 20. 1957. The woman owned it her whole life and left it to her nephew when she passed away and he has owned it ever since. The car has had 1 repaint about 30 or 35 years ago.
It is all original.
The motor. ransmission and rear are all original.
The motor is a V 8 283 2 Barrel.
And the VC in the vin number shows it was a V 8 its whole life and not a 6 cylinder.
The transmission is a power glide and does shift good.
The car does run and drive but is not running off the original gas tank.
We have it bottle fed running off a little gas can to the fuel pump.
The gas can does NOT go with the car. I use this to get these old cars running to show that the motor is not locked up.
The brakes are a little weak and will need redone.
The car does stop but only at a slow speed.
The floor and the frame are good.
There is some rust in the trunk as seen in the pictures. but not bad.
The interior is original.
The front seat is there.
It does have a hole in it as seen in the picture.
The head liner is hanging as seen in the picture and the radio is missing as seen in the picture.
This is a good car to restore because everything is there and it is the 2 door hardtop.
