This listing is for a first year 1961 Lincoln Continental retractable convertible.   The car has 58. 00 original miles on her. I have some old documentation that show this (old repair slips etc).   The car has never had any rust and was just taken down to bare metal and given a show quality paint  job in Executive Gray in 2012. A very rare color  for this car. All chrome was removed and as you can see in the photos. she in gorgeous.                                                                                                            This car has been gone through by Baker's Auto in Ct in 2012 to tune of $7000. 00 which included  fettling the following systems:      Top Mechanism. nbsp;    Power Steering. nbsp;  Automatic Transmission    and Power Seat.

Car has a new top with a correct plastic rear window. 5 new Coker correct white wall tires and a very rare and very expensive correct trunk lining kit including the spare tire cover. All of the weather stripping is new.

The burgandy interior has been redone in the correct patern out of leather look vinyl. and the correct burgandy carpet with Lincoln logo Lloyd Mats. Wood grained steering wheel is perfect along with the dash pad and the controls.   All 4  windows work fine along with the 6 way power seat and the vacuam comtrolled door locks. The real wood on the dash could use a refinish but is very presentable.

The car starts. runs and stops as new. Good ride with pleanty of  power and decent handing for a 5000 lb car.

Some minor issues are   The AC has all its components and a rebuilt compressor but needs to be charged. The clock does not work  and the Am radio only brings in a few stations.

This is a fine automobile so please only serious bidders. No Dreamers. I beleive my reserve is a fair number for this quality vehicle. A deposit of $1000. 00 is due 48 hrs from close of auction with the balance via  a bank check.

Delivery and or shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. The car is being sold As Is with no warrantees.
