This particular Rallye 350 is coming out of a very large Oldsmobile private collection. The owner is a prominent OCA. Oldsmobile Club of America Master Judge at the National level.
This Rallye 350 is not a perfect national show winner. It is a extremely nice dependable local show quality vehicle. It will win at the regional level shows. Its a perfect car to stand out at your local car show or cruise night.

Have you seen the auction prices of these Rallye 350's lately? They're skyrocketing in value and finally receiving the respect they deserve in the collector car circle! These are now leading a charge up the value charts.
This Rallye 350 has just had a full inspection of its mechanicals by an ASE Certified Master Automotive Technician. This also covers the safety of the car. If any safety issues are found at the time of the inspection. they are fixed to factory original equipment standards. An inspection sheet is available upon request.
This is the essential eye popping 1970's color combination. Please review all the pictures to see how nice this Rallye 350 really is.
This Rallye 350's undercarriage is extremely original. with solid and clean floorpans. The frame is rock solid as well. The Rallye's automatic sends power to the rear end. Up front a factory power steering system combines with the factory power disc brakes to provide the stopping performance. Everything under this car looks very solid.
The interior of this car is like taking a time machine back to 1970. The Black Strato Bucket seats are in very nice condition. The carpet is in excellent condition. It is topped by GM factory floor mats. The interior plastic is in excellent condition. The console houses a shifter that is topped with an awesome original shifter. all in excellent condition. The dash and dash bezel is in pristine condition as well. It has an aftermarket radio in it. The door panels are in excellent condition. The Custom Sport steering wheel looks great.
The engine bay is unmodified and very original. You can see the factory paper tags and markings are intact.
The engine has recently had a full rebuild with pictures and receipts to back up its performance.

HISTORY
Oldsmobile proudly introduced the Rallye 350 package in 1970 as a rival to the Heavy Chevy Chevelle. Dodge Dart 340. Pontiac GT-37 and Plymouth Road Runner. The Rallye's intended buyer was someone looking for respectable performance and flashy looks at an affordable price. "Easy to buy. easy to drive!" shouted promotional literature of the day.
Lansing built just 3. 47 Rallye 350s. all in Sebring Yellow. down to the urethane-coated yellow bumpers and body-color-painted 14 x 7-inch Super Stock II wheels (no bright trim ring was included from the factory). The package also included black and orange body stripe decals. dual sport mirrors. bright exhaust tips that poked out of flares in the rear bumper. a rear deck spoiler. special FE2 suspension and G70-14 bias-belted wide-oval tires.
Under every Rallye 350's fiberglass "Dual-intake. Force Air" hood lurked a 310hp Rocket 350 V-8 that could propel the car to a 15. 27-second quarter-mile at 94. 33 MPH. according to one magazine road test of the day. The standard gear was a 3. 23:1.

A 1970 Rallye 350 should have the following VIN #
336870M=Holiday Coupe. 332770M=F85 Club Coupe & 33677=Sport Coupes.
All must have M for Lansing in vin. All had the rear spoiler & OAI hood. Build dates from 01A to 05D or maybe early June. Last 6 of the Vin ranges are 239000-327000~. No W31s! At least none documented. 12 of the 160 S. Coupes were reported as 4 speeds.
With the Rallye 350. Olds tried to cash in on the "hot paint" fad started by the 1969 GTO Judge. The car's story started. though. with the previous year's W-31 Forced Air performance package. So Olds went their own way.
There was no missing the Rallye 350. It came in just one color. Sebring Yellow. even the bumpers. Olds went the extra mile to urethane coat them for durability. Olds contrasted the yellow paint and a wild orange and black stripe job. Only 3547 were built. 2527 on the Cutlass. 1020 on the cheaper F-85. Only a few survivors exist today. Making the Rallye highly sought after among car collectors.
In closing. nbsp; finding an original investment grade car like this Rallye 350 don't come up for sale very often. Most of these Olds have been “well used” or in most cases. abused or slapped together over the years.
