Here I have for sale my  V8 Mini Roadster.

I have built a few Minis in my time but this time I wanted something a bit different!

The car took me three and a half years to rebuild. The car started its life in Solihull as a 1275GT Clubman.
I bought it off EBay in October 2007. The car already had the roof removed and the doors filled. Unfortunately it was not
to my standards so I took it all apart again. Re-welding all the seams and removing the floor pan to keep the car as
low as possible. The tube chassis is Mig welded C. D. S. 38mm X 2mm and is very strong. easy cope with another couple of
hundred horsepower. I had to purchase all the parts for the car at the same time in order to see where things would fit.
That's why the rad ended up in the boot. All parts on the car are as lightweight as possible i. e. : Aluminum or fiberglass.
The main body is steel including the aero deck. wings and sides. The smoothed rear of the car is the original roof.
This results in a weight of around 650 Kgs.

The car is given a 6-page feature in October's 2011 edition of Mini Magazine.

Engine held under 4500rpm as still running in at that stage.

Engine: New Land Rover 4. 0 V8 4 bolt mains crank conrods and pistons.
Cam: Crower 50232 with Rhoads lifters. Duplex vernier timing set. HD push rods.
Flywheel and Clutch: Steel Billet flywheel. SD1cluch assembly ARP bolts.
Cylinder heads: TVR Chimera with 10 thou skimmed to assure flatness.
Head gaskets composite.
New rockers shafts springs shims and pedestals. ARP head stud kit.
New Edebrock 500 4 barrel carb with Edelbrock RPM manifold ARP bolts.
New Edelbrock 14x3 air filter.

New Edelbrock nitrous oxide plate with jet for 50-75-100 BHP.
Exhaust: Hedman modified headers with Cherry Bomb straight through    silencers.
New water pump and thermostat 74 degrees.
New 19 row Mocal oil cooler.
New starter motor.
New alternator.
Gearbox: Lt77 5 speed reconditioned box. long remote.
Custom  “Reco” prop shaft.
Ford Cosworth LS differential. reconditioned 3. 6-1
Battery: Varley Red Top 25.
Seat belts: Securon 4point harness.
Ignition: Mallory magnetic reluctor distributor and coil Mallory yellow HT leads.
Electrics: New wiring loom. Rev counter. oil pressure gauge. water temperature gauge.
Vapor digital dash with recall.

Brakes: Willwood 4 pot front calipers. Cosworth rear disks and calipers.
Rally Design pedal box assembly with split circuit master cylinders.
Ford Escort hand brake.
Suspension: unequal length wishbones with GAZ gold coil over shocks.
Steering: New Ford Escort rack with Sierra steering column.
Cooling: Rear mounted Dax Rush V8 Radtec radiator with Pacet electric fan.
New mechanical water pump boosted by Davies Craig electric pump.

New front mounted secondary 19 row water cooler.
Wheels and tires : New Team Dynamics Sport 15'' X 8'' alloys. Kumho 225x50 tyres.

Front splitter and rear Whale tail recently fitted.
