1925 (August) Citroën 5 HP Classic Car
The engine has been overhauled and has a new magneto. new carburetor and a new battery.
The interior has also been re trimmed.
This is a great piece of motoring history and is in excellent condition.
The Type C was launched at the Paris Salon in 1921.
Originally available as a 2 seat Torpédo finished in yellow (hence its nickname "Citron". it was joined by a 2 seat cabriolet in 1923 and in 1924 it was superceded by the Type C 2 with a choice of 2 seat Torpédo. 3 seat Torpédo and 2 seat cabriolet. In 1925 the C 2 was in turn replaced by the C 3 which remained in production until 1926.
