1993 was the 40 th anniversary for Corvette. To celebrate the occasion. the "40 th Anniversary" package was created. The 40 th Anniversary package includes special Ruby Red Metallic paint and a Ruby Red interior. It also has headrest embroidery and bright emblems on the hood. deck and side-gills. The 40 th Anniversary Corvette was a limited edition run. Total production for all 1993 Corvettes was 21. 90 vehicles. A total of 6. 49 cars were produced with the 40 th anniversary package which is labeled as the Z 25 option. This option package retailed for $1. 55. 00 and was available on both the convertible and coupe models. The 40 th Anniversary Corvette convertible with the LT 1( 5. 7 -liter 350 cubic inch V 8) engine develops a 10. 5 to 1 compression ratio to garner 300 horsepower. The torque is rated at 340 ft. -lbs. The bore and stroke are 4 inches and 3. 48 inches. respectively. The car comes with all documentation. copies of the “Build Sheet” and Window Sticker and a 1993 GM Corvette service Manual.
