HUV 5 K was first registered on 2. 11. 71.
Only a limited number of this model were made available for the UK market. as they were primarily made for the American market. being fitted with a Triumph TR 6 FED (DETOXED) engine. as this complied with the American fume emission laws.
I purchased the car. one previous registered owner only. in April 1995 requiring a 100% restoration. having been completely stripped down sometime in the early 1980 s for a restoration. which never happened.
In 2002. restoration was completed to its present condition using as many of its original parts as possible.
(Plus some sympathetic improvements. )
