Hello!  You are bidding on a very rare 1987 TVR S.   The TVR is a fully hand built British Sports Car.   This vehicle was purchased in England and shipped to America.   I have personally owned the vehicle since September 2013 and have always serviced the vehicle.   I have information from pretty much when the vehicle was new.   The interior is in good condition for its year (seats have been redone) and the body has small marks. but no major damage.  


I only know of 6 other TVR S in the USA.   The full body is fiberglass. so no dents.   The entire drivetrain is a Ford. with a 2. 8 engine.   I have recently changed the plugs. wires. distributor cap. rotor button. spark plug wires. and fuel filter.   All four tires have been replaced in January 2014.   Included is also two books. service manual for the engine and a service/information manual about the TVR.   The car will get you attention and yes. it is right hand drive.   The only known issue is half the motor has very low compression and will not start.   The valves are adjusted to specs. I am guessing a head gasket or a new head.   I am not a professional mechanic. so I do not know exactly what is causing the low compression.    The compression ratings is 1-30. 2-30. 3-20. 4-120. 5-120. and 6-90.   This car is sold as-is and where-is as a non-runner.

The mileage is shown as 71. 99.   As stated the speedo cable stopped working right before the engine failure.   I would have to assume the correct mileage is at 73. 00.

Would it be possible to get pictures of the engine and interiors? Also what is the mileage. I'm dory if this is obvious as I don't understand this but you state the mileage is 71. 99. What does this mean? Sorry if that is obvious but I don't quite understand. Looks like a great car though from what I see.
