If you were born before 1960. chances are that you are old enough to know what a Ferrari 308 GTS is and may have even had a poster on your wall of a 1978 Ferrari 308 GTS.

The 308 was the big game changer for Ferrari and many consider it one of the most iconic Ferrari designs.

The 1978 model came as a carbureted car which for collectors seems to be more desirable then the later fuel injected model.

The 3 liter 4 cam Weber-carbureted V-8 provided impressive power and a soundtrack all the way to 7. 00 rpm.

The 308 GTS were built for only three years and just under 3. 19 were made.

It is important to note that in 1980 the 308 GTS was changed to a fuel injected and lost 26 horsepower and never had that roaring sound that you loved to hear from a Ferrari.
