For sale is my VW Split screen LHD californian import
imported and registered from california in 2009 by its previous owner
first registered
on the 1 st January 1960
12 Months MOT
12 months Tax
fitted with a straight rear axel conversion
Dropped Spindles
just fitted last week brand new power spark electronic ignition kit with new plugs leads and lucus coil.
this is a solid van there is no rot and there it does not need any welding anywhere. the previous owner had any work that needed doing done.
door steps. outriggers. floors. underneath etc. all very solid i was very surprised when i saw it. was painted a few years ago so there are a few scabby bits in places but no rot. a few dints in the roof. as this van is in daily use and gets used. therefore this van is not a show van but could be with a little tlc
the van has been half ply lined. front door cards the rear roof and the rear quarters need plying . it does come fitted with a brand new unit with 3 cupboard doors with a shelf. top of the unit lifts up so maybe put a sink and cooker hidden
under there?
only downsides there is a slight oil leakthe front of the bench seat on the drivers side is quite badly torn so i put blankets on top.
