Built in 1965 at the Scottish Aviation factory in Prestwick
One of only 12 ever built of which only 4 now remain
3 of which are in motoring museums. the other is mine. which I am now selling
A car such as this is virtually priceless as it is so very rare
An opportunity to purchase such a unique car is unlikely to ever occur again

This dinky 2-3 seater electric car was built for local trips around the town.
It was powered by two electric motors giving it a top speed of around 30 mph
and a range of 30 miles on a full charge.
It currently does not have any batteries fitted. /
however it may be possible to get it going again
Rather than ramble on about it. if you are seriously interested in buying it

The Scamp is located near Inverness. however it could
easily be transported anywhere.
As this is such an important part of British motoring history
I am not prepared to sell it outside the UK at any price

Interesting to see your advert for the Scamp. One of my first jobs as an apprentice at Scottish Aviation as an electrician was to work on the Scamps. They were great fun to run around in. Remember well all the trials we did around the airport runways when the airfield was quiet
