1961 Dodge Phoenix Convertible

Up for sale is a extra nice and rare 1961 Dodge Phoenix convertible. only about 4000 convertible where made that year. the Phoenix was the top of the line Dart available for '61. it is powered by the 318 c. i. 2 barrels V8 with automatic transmission. This car originally came from Palm Spring California until the actual owner bought it an went true a complete frame off restoration. starting with a rust an accident free body. everything was taken apart and restored to almost perfect condition. all body sheet metal are still original. the restoration was complete in 2005 & 2006 and only about 600 miles was done since. everything was professionally done. each body item was painted separately and are in excellent condition. absolutely no rust. damage or sign of repair is visible anywhere.  
All mechanical component have also been professionally redone. down to the last bolt. the engine and transmission are still mach numbers and where completely rebuilt. all brake components. exhaust system. suspension and steering have been revised and rebuilt to original specifications. the 4 drums brake. suspension. exhaust system and power steering have not been modified but everything was rebuilt and still like new. the tire are B. F Goodrich G70/R15 and they are new.
As you can see. everything on this car is in excellent condition. much better then when it came from the factory and is ready for any daily driving. weekly night cruse or weekend show and it could easily be entered in any judgement show and come out high and on top of it's class. if you like to be different from everybody else. this is the car for you.
