Up for Auction is a 1983 E 24 BMW 628 Csi. Manual. with Optional factory limited slip diff and sunroof. The car was originally imported from South Africa in the early 1990's. A huge folder of service receipts and original sale documents is available. The original car had some minor rust. mainly in the boot and rear 1/4. but I have replaced the boot with a fresh one and professionally repaired rust. The vehicle was then completely resprayed with high quality Glasurit paint in Porsche Seal grey (997 GT 3 colour). The painwork is just flawless. There is no poin holes. no bad finish or rub marks anywhere. I paid a lot of attention and the paint job + repairs alone have been over $6. 00. Additionally for $1. 00 (receipts available) the floor was also resprayed in high gloss. I have picture available of all sound deadenning oming off as I wanted to created a recreational. race-track enspired. tarmac rally road registered car. The engine is sound and has a great compression. The gearbox is smooth and the motor starts 1 st time. every time. I have also installed a retro. stainless steel Super Sprint exhaust and BBS wheels. Original seats have been replaced with original Recaro Specialist Version L Seats (retrimmed with high quality suade and leather) and brackets have been made to fit these in original rails.

Highlights:
- Immaculate body preperation. repairs and paint job in and out. - Beautiful BBS wheels- Original Recaro Specialist Version L Seats at front- Strong motor- Manual 5 speed box - Limited Slip diff- No oil leaks or any repairs as a folder full of receipts show great detail and care taken in meintaining this car- New Bilstein shocks all arround- Super Sprint Exhaust system. sounds great!
The bad side:
- Car is unregistered. but all is there to make it happen. - The sunroof is not working (I believe needs new. used casette)- Power window switches need to be mounted and connected as centre console is not there- Original rear seats available. but need to be retrimmed.
I have changed focus and direction with my cars. so this one has to go for no other reason. but a lack of interest.
