1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302
This is a very nice Boss 302 that was restored a few years ago for street use and show. it has a Boss 302 engine that has been stroked out to a 347. using the forged steel crank and Eagle H beam rods it should be in the 480 to 500 hp. It has the 1969 Boss heads on it and an original set of the Trans-Am Boss roller rockers along with the original Boss valve covers. It runs great and it has a better power band than the stock Boss 302 engine. a new MSD distributor and MSD 6 AL ignition box with a MSD coil was installed to handle the higher RPM's and control the revs. The factory rev limiter goes with the Boss and Boss distributor. This is not your stock Boss 302!! With 295 HP.
The Marti Auto Works report show this Boss came with some very nice options. The color has been changed to Grabber Blue from Lime metallic. it has the Décor Group option with black Clarion Knit/Corinthian Vinyl Bucket seats. The rear end is the V code 3. 91 Traction lock axle ratio. The four speed transmission has been rebuilt and new clutch and pressure plate installed. The power steering pump with the large pulley is there and so is the Factory Rev limiter which is not installed but does go with the Boss. The Boss came with the shaker option and it does not have the heat riser or snorkel tube. The exhaust manifolds have been Jet Hot Coated so they will always look new. It has the full console with the Shelby gage pod were the ash tray would be.
You can see the before and after pictures of the dash restorations. All dash plastic was rechrome and detailed and all of the lens were replaced. ver $1200. 00 was spent to do the restoration of dash and clock repair. The wheels are 15 X 7 Magnum 500's and the chrome is very good. like new the body was completely restored and it does have the red oxide floor pans and has been detailed for show. The hood hinges were power coated. along with the shock plate mounts. they will always look new. It has the chrome export brace and Monte Carlo bar.
This is a very nice Boss 302 that has the Marti Report. It may not be factory stock and yes it is missing a few Boss Items very few!!. but it will be a great investment and a Great car to DRIVE!!
