1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe Special Deluxe

Going to be as honest as possible with everything about this car.

1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe with 20. 88 original miles. I don't have the proof to back it but you can look at the car. underneath and the service stickers and judge yourself. Golf sticker 1967 shows 16. 14 Last service sticker from 1972 showed 19. ??.

I am the 3 rd owner of this car clear title in VA.

Bought the car off an 80 year old man out of his concrete floored shop where he had it sitting since his purchase back around 1990. this car did a lot of sitting in between 1 st and 2 nd owner. Since 1972 the car had only been driven around maybe 1400 miles where it was used in parades. His wife used the car one day and it ran out of gas so it was parked after that.

The sun definitely did damage when it was outside as you can see from the interior fabric. But you will be hard presses to find any rust on this car. Somewhere along the way someone did a poor job of putting new door seals in which is why bottom of door panels shows water damage.

The following was done between 2 different shops when I pulled it out of the 80 yr old man's concrete floored shop.

Rebuilt Carburetor. rebuilt starter. new 6 volt battery. new master cylinder. all new wheel cylinders. new front brakes. new plugs. new distributor cap and rotor and points. emergency brake cable repaired. engine oil and filter. transmission fluid. and rear differential seal. gas tank was flushed and new fuel filter added inline. New radials were added instead of Bias Ply was cheaper and better ride. still have originals tires off car may even be the ones from the factory but dry rotted. Have all paperwork from 2 different shops.

All electrical switches work in this car. interior light. fan motor. heat. windshield wipers. high beam and low beam floor switch and the high beam indicator light.

No broken glass or smoked fading all windows work. Smooth ride no noises or rattles going down the road.

What car needs: a new regulator as all lights at night will shut off then back on back and forth. Needs a new vacuum assist on distributor or just a new distributor as gas pedal steady no problem but when letting off you can feel it. Needs a brake switch as brake lights do not brighten when brake pedal is applied. And some kind of gear/new cable possibly in the speed odometer. but the odometer works perfectly. New door seals.

There is 1 small dent on roof as show in picture and 1 small dent near trunk handle thanks to 1 shop other than that no dents and straight.

Car sold as is no warranty. buyer schedule pick up and transportation. Car is also for sale local so may be taken down at anytime.
