Current customer rating:
NO RESERVE!!!! RARE LIMITED PRODUCTION MODEL!!
ALL ORIGINAL!!
I am selling a very well taken care of Highly diserable Mercedes Wagon that only had 2 previous owners. I had originally purchased this car for my Teenage son that recently got his license based upon the fact that these cars are bullet proof. mechanically and esthetically! However. he now wants a Honda Civic (go figure). Was gonna keep for myself but just dont have the room for it.
First off. things that need attention on the car. of course if the next owner wants to fix them are as follows:
1) Original radio does not work. may be just a fuse though. not sure.
2) Rear passenger door window does not work.
3) Needs new antenna
4) sunroof motor works but just not opening. may just need realignment
5) Car needs to be locked manually. power locks dont work.
6) could use a new set of brake pads in the future
7) Ver small oil leak - but only leaks if the car is sitting and not driven for more than a week
Other then that. everything else on the car works perfectly.
On a scale of 1-10 (given the age of course) I give this car a 7 on the exterior and a 8 on the interior. Seats are in great condition with no rips and very minimal wear. Carpets are very clean with no stains. Dasboard is in almost perfect condition with no cracking. A couple of the door panel rivets are loose but can be easly fixed.
Recently done to car is as follows.
1) New altenator
2) New tires
3) New Tint
4) New Headlight Eyes
AC and Heat work. AC blows ice cold!
No visible rust anywhere on the car.
As far as driverbility this car drives. shifts and runs fantastic!
Steering is nice and tight (hardly any play).
Engine is very strong and you can really feel the power of the Turbo kick in.
Transmission shifts very strong and consistent through all gears with no slippage.
If you are looking for a true classic that is in great shape and could easly do another few hundred thousand miles with ease. look no further!
191 K original miles. if anyone knows these cars the engine has basically just broken in. May accumulate more miles as I am driving it on the weekends.
Serious buyers only. Looking for someone that will really take care of and respect this classic.
Have the right to cancel Auction anytime for a local buyer.
Immediate $500 deposit required for winning bidder.
Winner will have to arrange own Transportation/shipping for this unit. or Local pickup.
Thank you.
