We would like to offer for sale a beautiful 1966 Buick Riviera. California Car with a 425 Nailhead V-8 motor. 360 HP. Numbers Matching Motor. AC Car with Bucket Seats and Center Console.

This is a 2 nd Generation Riviera. a totally new ultra sleek styling from the first generation.

The 2 nd generation ran from 1966 to 1970. Buick completely redesigned the Riviera. moving the headlights behind the grille. where they moved up above the grille when not being used.

Buick also gave it a longer body. the hood was extended. and the rear styling was similar to a fastback design.

Although this was built as a luxury type vehicle. it was no slouch in the performance department. going from 0 to 60 in 9. 2 seconds.

The Exterior:

The exterior has been professionally painted black. The front and back bumpers have been re-chromed.

The rims are original. factory. Rally wheels with white wall tires.

It really looks sharp.

The Interior

is very clean. the f ront and rear seats have been professionally re-upholstered in black vinyl. in the same pattern as the original car.

The headliner is new.

There is new black carpet throughout. including the trunk.

All the weather stripping is new as well as in the trunk.

In addition. the window felts are new.

The interior looks very nice.

The steering wheel is the original Buick steering wheel.

Motor: The Riviera has an original 425 Nailhead V-8. number matching motor that runs great! The odometer shows 37. 06 miles.

It has the original 4 barrel Quadra Jet Carburator with Dual Exhaust. the car has a nice. deep lope and sounds really good.

The cylinders have been reconditioned. the head gaskets are new and have been vacuum tested. Magnaflexed. and has had a valve job and also re-surfaced.

There is also new gray insulation for heat protection under the hood. looks great!

Transmission:

The transmission has been serviced. and shifts smoothly.

Air Conditioning:

This car is equipped with factory air conditioning.

It has been updated with a new expansion valve.

There is a new POA system with a new AC relay.

A new updated conversion kit to 134 Freon with new oil has been installed.

The cooling system has new upper and lower radiator hoses with new coolant. new thermostats and heat control valve and hose.

Chrome:

There is extra chrome under the hood. chrome hinges. valve covers. AC brackets. air cleaner. chrome radiator hold down. alternator brackets and steering brackets.

Looks great!

Radio:

This car has the original radio. the radio does not work. there is power to it. however there is only static.

We did get a quote of $175 to repair from a couple sources.
