Mark Mercer (holder of 2 SCCA Championships) prepared the car just before I purchased it.  

More than $75. 00 is invested in custom upgrades.

All problem items rebuilt or replaced to a very higher standard. The car has virtually every upgrade you could want on an 87-91 90 series Lola.

- Elite 2. 0 engine with Elite aluminum head

- Prince tub –  removed and re-bonded floor

- Upgraded TDI stub axles

- Upgraded Mark Mercer front Ackerman kit

- Upgraded Front rockers from bushings to bearings for no stiction

- Upgraded Mark Mercer brake system with super light rotors and hats and new re-sized master cylinders

- Upgraded Ove Olsson front uprights

- Upgraded Pat Prince rear uprights

- Upgraded Penske 3-way shocks w/remote reservoirs done personally by Mark Mercer to his championship-winning specs. including valving and special fluid

- Tall man rollbar (2” above stock)

- Additional lower engine bay trunions

- Hans compatible seatbelt mounts

- Oversize fire system

- Oversize Yarley style battery (safety and reliability)

- Upgraded front bulkhead brace

- Rebuild of gearbox by J&J including new TDI aluminum diff carrier with new ring and pinion

- J&J re-welded and/or beefed up old bell housing welds and re-trued the housing surface

- Stainless steel Tri-Y header system

- TDC oil pump

- Latest design oil pan (++hp)

- Modified oil tank

- Radio harness

- Rebuilt CVs

- Full gloss carbon bodywork (LIGHT!)

- New gloss carbon carbon seat

- Comprent carbon fiber diffuser

- Full AIM Michron3 dashboard just installed

No other anti-intrusion bars to save weight.

Approximately 1. 35 lbs. in qualifying mode.

The car is ready to go. No ifs ands or butts.

Two rear and one front Techno Magnesias (other front wheel lost) 

Spares (there may be minor variances)

- 7 control arms

- 1 suspension rocker

- 7 assorted aluminum billet suspension pickups and crossmembers

- 1 stub axle

- 1 hub

- 2 rear axles with CV joints

- Pair of left and right rear sub-frames  

- Large quantity of small aluminum suspension parts

The car needs nothing. It is strong. faaasssstttt. complete. and ready to go racing.

Not much history. May have been owned by Jay Messenger (SCCA National Championship Runoffs. S2000. nbsp;5th place 2000. nbsp;4th place 2001)

The last two owners appear to have not done much serious racing.
