1972 Dodge D700 for sale

1972 Dodge D 700 truck with a service body that is approx. 13. 5' in length. Was a former NY Long Island Lighting Company truck. Gas 361 C. I. with a recently rebuilt carburetor and new timing chain. 5 speed stick with 2 speed (Never used the stock 2 speed. Would imagine it would be pretty simple to get to work. )Runs. drives. starts. stops. etc. and has been keep inside. All the cargo boxes open and are in decent shape.

He has owned it and used it for steel work for many years. He is not a computer user. Any questions. please call the owner directly: Anthony . Truck is located in Sunset Park. Brooklyn 11232. Can be seen in person inside his ironworks shop.
Truck has a Pitman Polecat crane with rear outriggers. 37' reach. Seems to have a rough capacity of about 12. 00 lbs. retracted. at close reach. About 2000-3000 lbs. capacity when fully extended. at full reach. Runs off a PTO. Crane can be demonstrated in person.
There is a large Braden winch on the front with a horizontal capstan on the passenger side. Both run off a PTO. Has a 5/8" cable on it.
Mile shown on dash may or maybe be correct. Owner can tell you more.
Of note: the vintage red welding machine in the bed is not included in the sale. If the buyer desires that as well. it may be available for an addition fee.
All in all. a cool truck with an interesting history and useful features.
