Beautiful. Solid. Cosmetically Restored Lincoln Coupe!

     This week Canyon State Classics has another fine car for your bidding pleasure. Here is a very nice 1966 Lincoln Continental Coupe in great condition inside and out. The car has been a Arizona car for its whole life and it shows. The car has just completed a full cosmetic restoration with gorgeous custom touches and is ready to find a new owner. Bid Now!

      The exterior on the car is in great condition and is solid as a rock without an ounce of rust to be found. The car is finished in Tri-Stage Pearl White and has been treated to a recent repaint and looks great and turns heads everywhere it goes. The car was originally a white car. so when it came time for a repaint I decided to add a little flair. The car was completely disassembled by a professional when it was painted and put back together. This was not a tape and shoot job! Everything was removed for paint. doors. hood. and deck-lid I mean everything! The black vinyl top is also in great condition and was redone after paint. The sheet metal is all very straight and all body lines are correct. The car has been buffed and hand polished to a smooth as glass shine. All chrome and stainless was also redone or re-polished while it was off for paint. The overall quality of the chrome is a good indicator that this car has been in a salt free environment all of its life. This car is very solid with no rust in the rockers. floors. or wheel wells whatsoever. All glass is crack and chip free. The rubber seals are soft and pliable as they should be. All of the emblems and trim are beautiful and all of the lenses are crack free.

      The car is sitting on high dollar staggered Giovanna 22" chrome wheels and tires which give the car a very good look. The car rides great and the wheels fit on the car perfectly. For all of you traditionalists. the car can be purchased with its factory wheels and hubcaps instead of the chrome rims.

      The interior is in awesome shape all around. The seating surfaces are flawless as well as the door panels and carpet. This Continental is finished in the very stunning all black interior. All four of the door panels and wood grain inserts look good. The carpet is very nice and still has its Lincoln embossed heel pad. The steering wheel is leather wrapped and all of the gauges are absolutely gorgeous and all gauges work correctly. All of the switches and lights function correctly. The power windows were just serviced and work great.

      The trunk compartment has been beautifully redone using original style black felt type carpet and looks very original. The car also includes a very nice original black Lincoln tire cover!

      Mechanically. this Lincoln runs great. The motor provides ample power to move the car around comfortably. The car starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. The brakes are all in good shape and stop the car with ease. The front suspension has all been overhauled in the last 10 years with new bushings and center link and ball joints. I also had the steering box rubbers replaced. The water pump was also done in the last 10. 00 miles as well as belts and hoses. All correct accessories are in place and the motor has been nicely detailed including a repaint for the air cleaner and valve covers. as well as a full original decal kit. The car was fully tuned up and all new belts and hoses installed. The A/C system was also fully overhauled with a new compressor.

      All in all. this is a very nice Lincoln Continental Coupe that can be driven and enjoyed with out worry.
