This is a "One of a Kind". all steel 1938 Willys pick up. It's by far one of the most radical yet drivable. street rods anywhere. This “Little truck that roars” has many one-off items on its build sheet. with hundreds of hours of research put into it. This a rare oportunity as you're not going to find a Hot Rod this unique at such a reasonable price!

It was originally built as a drag racer named "FACETIOUS. " When I started the car I keep only the body everything else is new. Everything about this truck is unique. functional. and garners great attention!

The fire wall was pushed forward 10 inches to get more leg room. and a rear radiator system was designed to leave room for the 468 cubic inches of the blown Chevy engine up front.

The cooling system holds over seven gallons of coolant and works great with the (2) puller fans.

My version of air conditioning was the installation of a roll-down rear window in the cab for better air movement. (As there's no room for a traditional A/C. There's definitely 10 lbs. worth of stuff in a 5 lb. bag here!)

The interior was done by one of the best. Custom Works of Bakersfield. You'll notice many tasteful features inside the practical interior. which makes for a great ride.

The headers were built to fit the truck's lines as they flow back. and my individual custom designed mufflers in each pipe are easily removed for maximum (Open header) attention at the “Burn-out” contests!

The mufflers get a lot of questions because they are quiet given the motor they're attached to!

If you were going to build this car today you could not do it for twice the asking price!

This truck can be docile or ferocious. it's all up to your mood. It uses pump gas. You can hear it coming with it's

signature exhaust and

you'll do a double-take when you see the radiator in the tailgate. It's definitely an attention getter!

I've had several Willys and this one is definitely the most radical. I need to downsize and my grandkids won't all fit in

this car!

This car has a vintage drag racing lineage from the 50's and 60's. The picture of the truck in it's former form is for

that purpose only.

I do have the (2) Original doors from the truck when it was a Drag Racer named FACETIOUS. I've decided to go ahead and

include the doors

in the auction! There's also a custom built stand so you can show one of the doors along with the truck.

Take a moment and check this out you're not going to see one like it anywhere! If you'd rather not have another

32' or 57' like hundreds of other street rodders - this is right up your alley!

I also have a custom roll back car trailer for sale.

Feel free to call

with any questions or email.

Thanks. Jim
