For Sale: Restored 1970 Plymouth Road Runner

This is a matching numbers car that has been fully restored to a high level of detail. It is a very reliable and fun car that can be driven long distances with no worries.

The engine is the original 383 that has been professionally rebuilt less than 2. 00 miles ago. Almost all of the internal parts are new including the rods. pistons. camshaft. bearings. timing chain. rockers. valves. springs. distributor. and water pump. It starts with ease and does not smoke.

The transmission is a 727 Torqueflite that has also been rebuilt. It shifts with ease. The 8 3/4-inch rear features highway friendly 3. 23 gears. It also has fresh axle seals. gaskets. and bearings. No strange noises here.

The body is painted in the stock B4 (ice blue) color. The paint is about three years old and is still in great shape. There are a few very minor cosmetic flaws but the overall appearance is outstanding. The chrome trim is bright and undamaged and the glass is in good shape.

The interior is also very nice with new carpet. headliner. seat covers and a fully restored dash. All factory gauges work although the fuel gage isn't completely accurate. There is also one tiny rip in the drivers seat cover that is easily repaired. I car currently has the radio delete plate in place but I have a spare for an AM/FM radio should the owner want to install it.

Mechanically. this car needs nothing. Everything was either replaced or rebuilt during the restoration including the brakes. brake lines. master cylinder. power steering pump. steering box. driveshaft. all suspension components. wiper motor. windshield washer assembly. Beep Beep horn. wiring harness. etc.

I have a large file of receipts detailing the restoration that goes with the car. It was originally a California car that I brought to Indianapolis two years ago when I moved.

Fine print: Payment can be made by cash or wire transfer only and the car will not be released until funds have been cleared. I can hold on to the car as long as necessary to help complete the transaction. I can also assist with shipping although the cost will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Please contact me first with any questions before bidding. I'd be happy to discuss and details or concerns with a serious buyer. This car is a very solid and I have nothing to hide.
