1963 Right hand drive Ford galaxie 500 convertible. 12 months MOT and Tax (which is free) this is a genuine RHD car sold in the UK new in 1963. I have an old MOT showing it was originally registered 531 HWG or HWC. last digit is not so clear. It has been in the UK for 50 years so has been welded. filled. painted etc due to our lovely weather!! and the car needs some bits of body work and a paint job now as paint is poor and touched up to keep it looking tidy. all of which does not show in the pics. So if a concours car that lived all it's life in the Nevada desert is what you want don't bid keep looking but if a daily driver is what you want this could be it. Not sure if mechanically it is all original. numbers say it is fitted with a 406 engine but not sure that the engine is the original. fitted with Edelbrock 4 barrel which could do with fine tuning but drives ok. gearbox is smooth and car drives well but fuel gauge has stopped working. It has a power hood which works well. hood itself is showing signs of age but still holds the weather out.

I would just like to add that 8894 emily never came to view the car or even spoke to me over the phone about the car before retracting their bid. so please don't judge the car on their action. call me or even better come and see it.
