1988 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 560SL 560 SL R 107

This is a rare opportunity to purchase an original 1 owner CA 560 SL with only 62 k miles on it . This car has been purchased new in August of 1988 in Sacramento /CA and has been in CA ever since . It still comes with the original California pink slip title from 1988 .

This stunning and elegant 560 SL was finished in Champagne color ( MB color code 473) with Palomino color leather interior. The body is in wonderful condition. There is no rust at all and there has never been an accident . There are no dings or dents and the paint still shines like on a much newer car . The chrome is in great shape and it looks very nice with the champagne color exterior. This 560 SL comes with both tops. She almost always had the hardtop on . so the soft top is still like new. The interior is equally stunning . There are no rips or tears in the seats and the leather is still soft. The carpets are clean and even the wood is still in good condition as the many pictures will show. This car has never been smoked in and there no strange odors of any kind. I get compliments on it . whenever i drive it .

The last few years it has not been driven much anymore and the original owner finally decided to sell it . This car has always been maintained very well and it will be evident . once you drive it . It has great power from the start. There are no funny noises and i could not think of anything it needs . The AC has been serviced and it blows cold. The transmission shifts smooth through all the gears . Within the last year the car was serviced. the fuel pump and all the belts were replaced. Even though this car is 28 years old . it only has 62 k miles on it and it drives like a much newer car .

I would prefer to sell this SL locally to somebody who could actually come out and see it. But i would also be willing to help with shipping arrangements or an airport pick up ( LAX) for out of town winning bidders.
