This is the only International Metro in existence with rear wheel side skirts. The truck is all original period. I purcased it with the intention of making sure it wasn't cut up for a food truck and to help ensure its history. The truck was purchased new and owned by the same company until I bought it 3 years ago. It sat in the California desert untouched for 40 years. There are no holes nor rust ed spots anywhere on the truck. The patina you see is from the So Cal sun and wind. As the pictures show it is well preserved. You can still see the wood grain of the floor from the pictures. the exhaust system is all original as is the grill and tear drop head lights. One lens has a chip in it but is not cracked. After spending the tine to rid the truck of nests and straw we removed all the wiring as the only thing left was the wire and no insulator. We had fabricate a new shift cable in order to get the trans. to work. He engine ran but was missing on 2 cylinders. It also has the original tires on it but they are shot but hold air. Will help load.
