The story passed on to me when I purchased the Sunbeam…… The car was totaled in an accident in the mid 1990's. All original Tiger parts. including VIN and JAL were transferred to Alpine round cornered body when I purchased.
The Identification numbers are the original 1966 Tiger.
Clear Texas Title.
Has vintage 1966 Texas plates (black w/ white letters)
This car was received from the previous owner as a "lost interest" project car. a rolling chassis and 20 boxes.
Body:
All brake and fuel lines were replaced new. wiring harnesses were probably new at time of re-install in 2002.
Paint was done by Larry Moss of Mustangs and More. south Dallas. Texas.
Medium Royal Blue Metalic . 1999 Ford (PPG 4473). NO RUST. White cloth top.
Suspension:
Front suspension rebuilt using the Sunbeam Specialties kit.
Fresh shocks all around.
Rack and pinion boots replaced. Rear anti-hop torque arm installed.
Traction lock rear differential.
Brakes:
Fresh Lockheed brake booster. fresh shoes/pads and cylinders when rebuilt.
Power Train:
Ford 289" 5 bolt (C 4 OE-6015 F) w/351 heads. rebuilt prior to assembly in 2002.
Converted to alternator.
LAT Headers. Edelbrock Performer intake. Edelbrock 1405 4 bbl carb. Petronix ignition. Mc Leod release bearing. Hays Clutch.
Trans: Ford top loader 4 speed. (C 4 AR-7006-A) HEH E 017119
Interior:
Sunbeam Specialties upholstery.
Upgraded wood grain dash w/glovebox door.
All trim and bright parts in good condition.
Autopower roll bar.
No mechanical issues. ready to drive home. no leaks.
Comes with extra parts: 2 doors (w/Tiger molding holes). hardtop. window regulators. 4 extra 13' wheels and dog dish hub caps. Factory chrome Tiger valve covers. brake booster. Also Tiger shop manual and Vol 1 and 2 of C. A. T. Shop Notes.
I have owned this car for 15 years and am ready to free up garage space to finish my next project.
A local Senior TAC inspector is available to discuss the car at your request.
