1968 International Harvester Scout for sale

Classic 1968 International Scout 800 Red body. White top. (original color was metallic green)3 speed with a granny gear Can shift into 4 x 4 drive. Warren locking hubs. 2 gas tanks. The switch works Seats in great condition- one small rip. Comes with removable rear bench seat. We added a rubber floor pad in the back which can be removed easily. Hard top (heavy) comes off with a lift or help from a few neighbors or friends. Comes with spare tire.
Old original radio- not hooked up.
A lot of work done on it- body and engine. It has been sitting for a while and driven periodically. Can give you photos of the work done and lots of maintenance records!
A classic SUV. great straight body and it runs! Needs rebuilt carburetor. valve cover gasket and exhaust manifold gasket. A great project truck that could certainly use a fresh coat of paint. interior touch-ups and window seals. Add a Rhino liner for smooth and quieter ride :-)
A wonderful man and seller of Internationals until he passed on. Ernie of Bisio Motors in Portland. OR loved this truck and told us to put insurance on it for at least $12. 00.
It cleans up nicely. We washed it and took some new photos of it. The last photo was taken over the summer with the hard top off.
A little bit of work on this truck and you will have an eye-turner! Many of these go for $15-20 K once fixed up.
