1966 Sunbeam Alpine originally from New Mexico and now in Pensacola. Fl. Restored by the previous owner Dr John Simpson and a friend in 2004-05. I purchased the car after his passing in 2009. It is in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically and is a matching numbers car. It features a wooden dash. clock. and Panasport wheels. and some restoration photos and records of work. Interior by Pro Tech along with the top and in excellent shape. Top frame is excellent as well as the chrome. The car won best of show in the 2009 Tigers East/ Alpines East Invasion. It is an 86 color car. which is Sunbeam's British Racing Green but the car was painted with Jaguar's British Racing Green so is not quite the same. The tach works but the needle will stick frequently. All of the gauges were reconditioned by Momo Instruments in Albuquerque during the restoration and are beautiful as the photos show. I have substituted the amp gauge for a volt gauge and wired properly for it's use. There are two burn holes in the drivers foot where the Amp gauge decided to melt and resulted in the holes about the size of a nickel. They are covered by a floor mat. The car is an excellent example of of a series 5 Alpine. I have 7 Sunbeams so I should be able to answer your questions or provide you with information that you may need. I have too many so all theTigers are staying but two Alpines are going to be enjoyed by someone else. I have other photos available. Thanks for taking a look.
