1969 AMX AMC South Carolina NO RUST car 390 GO PACK POSI matching numbers

Selling for a neighbor.   If this AMX sells. you will be referred to him for final closing.   It really is a nice car.   I'm a car collector and muscle car parts dealer. and I know the difference in silk and sack cloth. This is a rare find indeed.   I have attempted to document it in pictures for you. Bought new in Greenville. South Carolina where the roads were never salted!  It doesn't know what rust is. Beautiful white with dual red racing stripes This AMX has the GO PACK with factory traction bars and posi rear end. Gear unknown Second owner bought it in '79 and recently became too old and unhealthy to drive it It's been sitting in his garage for a number of years and was recently sold This car has no rust and has been painted once as best can be told.   There are no signs of ever being wrecked that I can find. very straight with no waves or flat spots Excellent trunk floor. floor pans. frame rails. rockers. glass channels. drip rails. fender bottoms. door bottoms. etc. I found three or four pimples on the very bottom of the right quarter panel about the size of a straight pen head.   I assume there may be minor rust trying to penetrate there. Rear quarter inner liners are great There is NO rust around the battery box Aprons and radiator support are arrow straight Hood is straight and not warped Nice grill and bumpers and outside mirror Car's dash. headliner. carpet. sunvisors. nbsp;gas and brake pedals. and seats are great. too. Door panels appear to have been recovered in the past????  There is a missing cover on driver's seat hinge. Original radiator. transmission. posi rear. nbsp;and matching HP 390 engine Original nice valve covers with ID tag #110W04.   Has the original air breather in trunk less snorkel Aftermarket Holley was added at sometime in the past and original carb is missing.   Also missing is the original steering wheel. Has the rare original inflatable spare tire and bendable lug wrench. but no jack Factory AM radio. 140 speedo. and  8K tachometer.   Factory console as well No scratching on the glass. very shiny and bright 390 runs great. but has some valve train clicking from sitting so long.   Lifters are varnished? Engine was build about a decade ago and is matching numbers.   Engine. transmission. nbsp;and power steering  have NO leaks. Has power brakes with nice original chrome trim pedals Has aftermarket wheels. but also comes with original wheels. caps. nbsp;bands. and white walls! This car is rock solid and drives great with head turner looks It is not a perfect show car. but a super survivor that was garaged and well maintained throughout its life.
