This 4 1/4 litre Bentley comes with the highly prized overdrive gear box and modified rear axle ratio. allowing higher sustained cruising speeds. B 61 MX. was originally delivered through Jack Barclay to the Hon. Desmond Baring. It was completed only 2 months prior to the outbreak of hostilities in Europe. B 61 MX carries distinctive and sporting razor-edge pillarless saloon coachwork erected by Park Ward. The absence of a central pillar gives the car an open and appealing look. Early in its life. the car spent a short time in Germany. then returned to the UK. where it remained for many years. It was purchased and brought to the USA in 1992 from the well-known London dealers. Gregor Fisken. It subsequently underwent a very thorough restoration. with much work done by spanning approximately 2 years. Since then. it has been shown at both regional and national RROC events. receiving numerous awards. . It is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. and would be a candidate for major concours events. Expensive. top quality wheel discs fitted. Full tool kit. restoration records. original UK tax discs and registration document available.
