British Isetta three wheeler. LHD 1960 in Radiant Red. The lovely little car was restored a couple of years ago and is a real "head turner" brings smiles to young and old. The car was completely stripped down and chassis (which is solid) was cleaned and painted with black hammerite. New front floor welded in along with new sills. mudguards and complete lower door sections. Cylinder head refurbished by Bromley Bubble. new clutch fitted. three new tyres and new window seals all round. New carburettor was fitted and new headlamps. The sunroof appears to be original and the seat though both are very serviceable. Drives lovely with all the expected characteristic clonks and bumps from an old girl. I bought one of these in the late 60’s for £5.00, it had reverse gear, because the previous owner unblocked the gear gate.
I ran it for two years, and sold it for £7.50
