auction for my avon-stevens convertible. wned since 2006. revious owner since 1988. fter being left in garage since about 1996. purchased it and did a full mechanical rebuild. suspension-all 6 shock absorbers. rear subframe mounts. front subframe mounts. ower wishbone pivots. oly bush top and bottom wishbone rubbers . op . ottom balljoints. e-con steering rack. olybush mounts. new pair trailing arms and bushes. brakes-front recon callipers . ear recon callipers. econ hand brake callipers. and brake cable. ull copper pipes. tainless hoses. ew discs and mintex pads front and rear. ew diff output bearings spacers and studs. exhaust-good quality stainless steel exhaust. ew mounts and heat wrapped over axle pipes. fuel system-two in-tank pumps. ilter king filter. anual choke conversion. ust fitted new ethanol proof rubber diaphangs. passenger tank started to leak due to ethanol atacking a previous repair so is blanked off at present. water system-new radiator. ew heater matrix. ll engine hoses replaced. ew caps. interior-new carpets. ew front seat cushions and rubber spring padshalogen head light conversion. engine replaced with a good rebuilt unit. ust been rolling road tuned after carb rebuild. ew leads. ap. lugs rotor all jaguar parts. ow doing 210 miles per tank. last 5 mot. probaly done about 5000 mls in my ownership. ever let me down. real head turner. ery rear only seen another one on the road. ery useable car . ould be the factory brocure car as was originally greensand colour as picture of spare wheel well shows. ow a series 3 british racing green metallic. y previous owner. hood has small tears both sides due to careless folding of roof. aging roof liner in rear corners due to elastic fitted gone with age. oes not seem to leak in rain when used . mainly use in nice weather. car needs to be seen. est drives no problem . ot till june 30 th 2014. ax till 10 2013. if you know the history of these cars bid to buy not tyre kick. reat investment better than xjs convertible. probally loads of bits i. e missed. ll receipts kept. ut if you come and view it you can see for yourself. o messers expect genuine interested parties to view. £250 at end of auction. hen cash or cleared bank transfer on pick-up. any questions ring mob- 7 pete.
