This car was purchased by me in Jan 2013. The previous owner was not able to finish the conversion.

I own a Body/Collision business and have been repairing and restoring vintage Porsche Cars for 35 years. We just wanted something different to do.

We finished installing the body on the 1974 Datsun 260 Z. painted it with Spies Heker products. paint is a solid 10. Interior is new. windshield is new. new Lexan rear window. all rubber is new. Rear end is R 200 with a Quaiff unit. 300 Z turbo axles. Completely gone through T 5 WC speed transmission. new Sachs clutch. new 350 4 bolt from Edge Brothers in Jax. NC. Dynoed at 415 hp. (steel crank. Eagle rods. Dart heads. 480 cam. Holley 650 double pumper. Aluminum radiator. All suspension components have been replaced or rebuilt. Poly bushings. Has new Tokiko springs and struts. Pictures were taken today and a few things need finishing and trim installed. Steering wheel and column needs finishing. Ferrari emblem on deck lid. headlight covers. radio delete cover. a few weather strip pieces. All of this will be completed in the next couple of days. We are still trying to put a few miles on it to run in the engine and tune the suspension. It sounds and drives like you would expect. amazing!!

I encourage serious bidders to come and inspect the car or have an independent inspection done prior to the end of the auction.
