1986 Suzuki Samurai

You are bidding on my 1986 Sammy that I have owned. enjoyed and upgraded since 2005.

I hate to let it go but. I promised my wife a pool.
-new steering wheel and column covers-engine replaced w/1. 6 by Suzuki Lightning -all u-joints and front bearings replaced-clutch and assembly replaced-Old Man Emu dampner. newer shocks -custom made half doors-windshield fold-down kit-dash mounted mirror for use when windshield is in down position-4 new tires 2 years ago - 98% rubber spare missing stem -am/fm CD w/4 speakers - front factory. rear custom made in factory style-all lights including markers and dash lights work. even dimmer-transmission and transfer case 4 WD work perfectly - rebuilt before I owned-new windshield-everything works as intended: wipers. fan. heater. windshield washer-winch comes with vehicle - never installed - never needed-newer interior. rail covers and all three roll bar cushions-has all 4 top support rails-both tops - black coup and full white - full top has small tear in rear window-front crash bar -dash has always been armoraled and looks great

Not a racer or interstate speeds but. overall a good Sammy used mostly as a weekend driver around town.

I've put on around twelve thousand miles since 2005.

Strong runner and attention getter.

Some rust shown in pics - 2 spots on drivers floor. small spot on both top rails by retractable top bar mount and some minor on the flare extension.

Uses electric fuel pump.

Takes a few minutes to warm up in the morning then runs like a champ.

My mechanic told me to greatly increase performance a change from the factory carb to a Weber Carb would do it.

And for heavy off-roading. upgraded front suspension is needed due to heavier 1. 6 engine.

Fuel gauge shows empty at full. goes to half at half then back to empty - this happened after 1. 6 installed.

Trip meter doesn't reset.

Half doors are a shade off the body color due to being painted separately.

Dash e-brake light stays on small burn on passenger front seat from drop-light when installing new CD radio.
