Mercedes 280 SL Pagoda. 1968
This Mercedes 280 SL Automatic is a project car and requires full restoration. First registered on the 6 th June 1968. it was garaged in 1980 by what we believe to be the second owner. A few original Mercedes parts were bought for a planned restoration which never happened and are included in the sale. We were able to move the car out of its dry resting place after 23 years and even the tyres are holding the pressure after pumping them during the move. At this time we have not tried to move the engine but have started preparation to do so in the next few days. We had a look at all the parts that were either in the car or that we could find in the garage and apart from some door handles and chrome parts we feel that the car is complete but would recommend that any potential buyers would check this for themselves because what you see is what you get.
We did a quick check on all the panels that we think need replacing and are confident that these could be bought for less than £2. 00 and we can help to source these.
This is a fantastic opportunity for any Mercedes Pagoda enthusiast that is interested in a full restoration project.
